Thanks to a partnership between U.S. Soccer, Utah Royals FC, NWSL and U.S. Soccer Development Fund donors, 21 NWSL players took their first step towards gaining their U.S. Soccer C License. The C License is the first professional coaching step along the U.S. Soccer Coaching Education Pathway.
Players representing all nine NWSL clubs took part in the first phase of the course from Sept. 30-Oct. 7. The educational phase kicked off with classroom and field sessions at the state-of-the-art Zions Bank Real Academy Training Center in Herriman, Utah.
