In the midst of a lost season, Purdue is attempting to find any sort of positives to move forward with. Tonight’s game had none of those as they got blown out by #8 Maryland by a score of 88-59.
This game was not close from the opening tip, as Maryland shot out of the gates with an 11-2 run which left the Boilermakers spinning at the starting line. The Boilermakers were only able to muster 9 points in the first quarter in a brutal offensive performance. They found a little more success in the second quarter scoring 17, but still allowed Maryland to extend the gap even further.
