Purdue football’s scholarship situation is coming into clearer focus now that we are after graduation. Before graduation I had Purdue at 90 scholarships, 5 over the 85 limit, in terms of players heading into the 2017 season. That number is now down to 88 as two players are moving on.
The first is Tim Faison. Faison would have been a redshirt sophomore in the fall with three years to play, but after redshirting in 2015 and not playing at all as a linebacker/defensive end in 2016 he is leaving the program:
His own twitter was a little more interesting:
For the record, IndyJuco is Independence Junior College in Independence, Kansas.
