This weekend we celebrated one of the greatest achievements in the history of mankind with 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing. This is one of the few events in America that has universal acclaim and respect. With Neil Armstrong being a Purdue alum us Boilermakers have always taken pride in this accomplishment. Neil Armstrong and Purdue are so entwined that the entire 150th anniversary celebration for the university itself is centered around Neil’s steps. All Purdue alums love Apollo 11... except one:
