A 4 year walk-on is hard to come by.
David Day has done that.
The senior from North Central High School, out of Indianapolis, will take his last steps on the Ross-Ade Turf this Saturday.
He joined the team as a walk-on in 2016, the last season of the Hazell Era.
He stuck it out, playing football while majoring in accounting. He has been named to the B1G All Academic Team twice so far, and is expected to do so for a third time this season.
David Day has not logged any stats during his time at Purdue.
