Stephanie White Continues To Impress

At Purdue, Stephanie White is already a legend. The 1995 Indiana Miss Basketball came to Purdue during the turbulent time when Lin Dunn was let go and she suffered through three coaches in four years. Her patience paid off, however, as she and Ukari Figgs led Purdue to the 1999 National Championship. She went on to have a brief career in the WNBA before turning to coaching.

She was reunited with Dunn as an assistant with the Indiana Fever, helping them to a WNBA title in 2012. This past season she took over as head coach of the Fever when Dunn retired, and tonight she lead the team within three games of another WNBA title.
