Rutgers 37, Purdue 30: In Tweets

This was supposed to be a turning point game. Even as far away as two years ago we were looking at the 2020 visit by Rutgers as the “Well, of course we’ll put that game away as a home Big Ten game.”

It was a turning point, alright. It was the game where most of the fanbase turned against Jeff Brohm. It was a deplorable effort where Purdue was outplayed and outcoached in nearly ever phase of the game from the moment where David Bell caught the TD pass from Jack Plummer that put us ahead 30-20.
