It has been a long time since Purdue football has produced an All-American. You have to go back to 2010 with Ryan Kerrigan was a unanimous selection at defensive end. All First Team All-Americans get their picture on a banner hanging int he Mollenkopf, and thanks to the great season from Rondale Moore that group will now have some company. Rondale was named a First Team All-American tonight by The Athletic.
The Athletic is not one of the officially recognized All-Amerca teams yet, but this is just a precursor to the others.
