Purdue Women’s Track Finishes 2nd at Big Ten, Clinches Governor’s Cup

last season Purdue’s women’s track & field brought home the outdoor Big Ten championship. This past weekend they entered the meet ranked 11th in the nation, just one spot behind Minnesota for the label of “Best Big Ten team”. It was expected to be a close meet, but in the end Minnesota edge Purdue 134-132 for the team title despite winning both relays and several individual championships.

Senior Devynne Charlton was the busiest for Purdue. She was the individual winner in the 100-meter hurdles in a time of 13.07, the 100 meters in a time of 11.
