From the looks of this tweet, they didn’t get close. The game will go into the record books as a no-contest and will not be made up. Purdue will play a 7 game schedule.
This, of course, is frustrating news for the Boilermakers after starting the season 2-0. Wisconsin was a barometer game for the Purdue program. I was interested to see how Bob Diaco’s new defense stacked up against the power Wisconsin running game, regardless of who started at quarterback for the Badgers.
