It is no secret that Purdue’s offensive line will be a concern in 2019. Kirk Barron, Dennis Edwards, and Shane Evans have exhausted their eligibility, leaving three positions open. Matt McCann is a long time starter, but he injured his knee in the bowl game and will need to recover. Grant Hermanns has also battled injury as a full-time starter for two years. Today the depth took a hit as we have confirmed that Michael Mendez is leaving the program.
He has decided not to return next year.
