This week is Indiana All-Stars week and of the five events, tonight was the night where most of Purdue’s future was on display. The Indiana Juniors played the Indiana Seniors in New Castle in a boys/girls doubleheader. That meant Isaiah Thompson, Brandon Newman, Jaden Ivey, Madison Layden, and Ra’Shaya Kyle were all participating. Here is how both games went down.
Girls Game: Seniors 97, Juniors 58
Both Purdue participants were on the Juniors team int his one as members of the 2020 class. two-time Class 3A State Champion Madison Layden of Northwestern is one of the favorite to win Miss Basketball next season, but she was held scoreless.
