Purdue Baseball Drops Two of Three in Kansas

This weekend the pitching was there for Purdue, but a lack of hitting continued to plague our baseball Boilers as they fell to 3-10 on the season by dropping 2 of three in the Millard Management Classic at the University of Kansas.

St. Louis 3, Purdue 2

Purdue's pitching was probably the best it has been all season. Tanner Andrews retired the first nine batters of the game, but got into trouble in the fourth with a pair of leadoff singles and by hitting a batter. A bases loaded walk, a fielder's choice, and an error led to all three runs, and Purdue would only give up two hits the rest of the way.
