It was the year of our Lord two thousand eleven, when the Dr. Sir Saint Jim Delany the Great, Esquire officially bestowed his blessing and finally recognized the hatred between Purdue and Iowa, Our Most Hated Rivals (OMHR).
During his proclamation of this great rivalry, he said,
This game against Ohio State’s greatest fears highlights the best black and gold teams in the Big Ten. Nay! The country. It is a game that turns boys into Legends...and Leaders.
Believe me. He said that. You can believe everything you read on the internet.
And since that proclamation, Purdue and OMHR have been battling it out fiercely on the gridiron.
