Purdue 76, Ohio State 75: Every Win is Beautiful

That was fun, right?

This looked like a game Purdue has lost way too many times over the years. Purdue never trailed int he second half, but wass tied twice. Once after a 12-2 run erased a 10-point lead. The second time was with 15 seconds left when Trevor Thompson got fouled and hit a circus shot to make it 75-75. He had a long time to think about his and-1, but we have seen this movie before. Purdue is the better team for 39.5 minutes but drops it just barely at the end. It certainly felt like Thompson would hit the free throw to give hte Buckeyes their first second half lead, Purdue would fail to score, the Buckeyes would rebound and get fouled to push the lead to three, Purdue would miss a desperation three at the buzzer.
