Purdue 31, Illinois 24: In Tweets

We always knew this was going to be a weird season with mostly empty stadiums, last minute cancellations, a start on October 24th, December home games, and more. What might be the weirdest part? Purdue is 2-0 for the first time since 2007. That year it started the year by beating Toledo and Eastern Illinois by the combined score of 104-30. This year Iowa and Illinois are significantly better, but the pair of conference wins, especially Big Ten West wins, has Purdue thinking a little more than a mere bowl game (if there end up being bowl games).

Now Purdue has a chance to move to 3-0 for the first time since starting 5-0 in 2007, might even crack the top 25 for the first time since 2007 with another win, and we can move to 3-0 in conference play for the first time since 2003.
