Melati Putri Wins Big Ten Women’s Golf Title

As you know, we’re a golf school. The most recent national championship in school history was the women’s title in 2010, and the ladies are regularly in the hunt for national hardware. Today they brough home some individual hardware as Ida Ayu Indira Melati Putri tied for the Big Ten women’s inidividual title. She fired an impressive five-under 67 today on the second day of competition to finish 6-under for the weekend. She tied with Ohio State’s Nikolette Schroeder for individual low honors.

In the team compitition Purdue finished tied for second with Illinois and Indiana at +2 for the tournament.
