Just because it is a bye week doesn’t mean we have forgotten about Friday Drankin’. In fact, we have a critically important announcement that pertains to one of our favorite local establishments. Harry’s Chocolate Shop opened in 1919 and has been a West Lafayette staple ever since. It survived through the terror that was Prohibition and has become the signature campus bar. In 2001 I even remember hte special Harry’s shirts with a rose through the logo.
In 2019 they will be celebrating their 100th anniversary and this morning they made a formal announcement via their Facebook page:
