With Purdue’s new defensive alignment the 3-4 means we need more from linebackers. That means some incoming freshmen have a chance of seeing the field earlier, like today’s player.

Kreul comes from a really good program in Wisconsin. in his final two years of high school his school won the Wisconsin Division 4 state championship, going a combined 23-3. That was enough for him to be named an All-Wisconsin player and a three-star linebacker by the recruiting services.
