Brycen Hopkins Named John Mackey Award Semi-Finalist

This season has had its ups an downs for Purdue Football so far, but one of the consistent shining stars of the season has been the tight end, Brycen Hopkins.

After being named the John Mackey Tight End of the Week after the Nevada and Maryland games, Hopkins has been named a Semi-Finalist for the John Mackey Award, which is given to the top tight end in the country each year.

Though the fifth year senior has not caught a touchdown since the Vanderbilt game thanks to 19-straight freshman touchdowns (damn youths!), Hopkins has still been able to make a huge impact on the field.
