The offensive line has been much-maligned over the past two seasons as Purdue has plugged in graduate transfers and found stopgap solutions as younger player developed. That devolpment may pay off this year with today’s player.

With Grant Hermanns locking down the left tackle spot we still need to setlle on the other four positions on the line, but Stickford is the favorite to be one of the starting guards. Last season he played in 10 of the 12 games and even made eight starts as the line solidified later in the season.
