The senior from Carmel showed some promise in limited action last season.
Today we have a senior on the roster. He hasn't contributed a ton so far, but with Randy Melvin back coaching the defensive backs it is hoped he can have a big sendoff.

Coming out of high school Newton was one of the top rated players in the state of Indiana. He was a HS teammate of Jimmy Herman and Race Johnson at Carmel and a huge part of their state championship in his senior year.
