Warren Central is always among the state’s best teams. In fact, they normally play a more national schedule. This season they complete a home-and-home with Kentucky powerhouse Louisville Trinity. During Armour’s time they played Cincinnati Colerain twice. They play in the always brutal Metropolitan Interscholastic Conference, which has produced all five Class 6A state champions since Class 5A split into 5A and 6A for the 2013 season.
