The first two official commitments under Jeff Brohm are on board after visiting Purdue this past weekend. Jacob Abrams, a 6’2” safety from Class 6A State Champion Carmel joins as a high school commit, while Ethan Smart, a 6’6” 290 pound JuCo offensive lineman, will be a mid-year enrollee.

Jacob Abrams – S – This year did not look like a particularly strong Carmel team, as the Greyhounds entered the state tournament with a rather mundane 5-4 record. This included losses to county rivals Hamilton Southeastern as well as Lawrence North, their first loss to Lawrence North in 10 years.
