After starting slower than we would have liked yesterday Purdue, and Braden Smith in particular, came on strong to take down the Bulldogs of Gonzaga for the second straight season. Now, Purdue gets to face off against the Volunteers of Tennessee. I can’t emphasize enough how stacked this field is. Like, my goodness.
As much as yesterday was Purdue’s biggest test of the season today will top that. Tennessee is a talented team with a very very good defense. This team could give Purdue fits, but as strong as they are on defense they have some holes on offense that you would hope Purdue would be able to take advantage of.
