Sparks has been a true boilermaker over the past three years. He came in originally as a quarterback, but has since converted to wide receiver. With two years of eligibility left he is now kind of the elder statesman of the receiver’s room along with Jackson Anthrop. He has earned his playing time, but he also has a wealth of talented freshmen around him.
