QUEENS, N.Y. – If you flipped on the television and watched the Providence College Friars for the first time last Saturday night at Xavier, you’d come away with a few clear observations.
One is that the Friars struggle to score. That would be correct. The Friars are last in the Big East (67.1) in scoring. The other is that the poor shot selection and poise under pressure the team showed in a close, 64-58 loss to the Musketeers, must be the mark of an inexperienced team. That would be incorrect.
