The annual URI-PC game will remain in its usual slot in the college basketball schedule this upcoming season.
The Rams will play at the Dunkin’ Center this year against the Friars on Dec. 1. The two long-time rivals have always tried to play on the first Saturday in December and will do so once again for the fifth time in the last six seasons.
Rhody won in Kingston last season, 75-68, snapping a seven-game losing streak in the series.
In other Friar schedule news, the team will open the season at home on Nov. 6 against an unannounced opponent and then play Wichita State in the Veterans Classic in Annapolis, Md.
