It appears that the University of Connecticut is on its way back home to the Big East.
According to numerous reports, the Big East is about to extend an invitation for the Huskies to join the conference for all sports that it offers. UConn is expected to accept with the timing as soon as next week. It is unclear how quickly the school would jump to the Big East but a move for the 2019-20 season is unlikely. The potential move was first reported by Digital Sports Desk.
UConn is currently a full member of the American Athletic Conference in large part due to its football program.
