Jyare Davis is a 6’7 small forward out of Delaware who has committed to Providence. Evan Daniels first reported the news on Fox Sports 1’s “Inside the Big East.” Davis attends the Sanford School, and is the second member of PC’s 2020 class, joining combo guard Alyn Breed of IMG Academy.
Davis visited Providence in November and had been strongly tied to the Friars in recent weeks. He was Delaware’s Gatorade Player of the Year as a junior, and is considered a three star recruit by most national services. Davis was thought to be one of the better recruits in the country early in his high school career, taking part in USA Basketball at one point, but his recruitment tailed off in the past year.
