AMHERST, Mass. - With a 12-1 record - the school's best start to a basketball season in 27 years - to wrap up the non-league portion of his schedule, Ed Cooley has reason to enjoy a very Merry Christmas.
The Friar coach was in a jovial mood after watching his team rip apart the UMass Minutemen, 90-66, Monday night. At the end of his post-game remarks, he pointed out what every PC hoop fans already knows.
