The Friars bounced back from their brutal loss to DePaul in the best way possible, knocking off the 3rd ranked Villanova Wildcats 76-71 at the Dunk on Wednesday night. It was a balanced attack throughout for Providence, with five players scoring in double figures.
Leading the way for the Friars was Kyron Cartwright with a team high 17 points, along with 5 assists and 3 steals in just 24 minutes due to foul trouble.
Kyron led the way in scoring, but the loudest points of the night came from Rodney Bullock. He had 14 points on 6-10 shooting and 6 boards, with 3 big time dunks that had the Dunk rocking.
