PROVIDENCE – It appears the Providence Friars have their first recruit in the important Class of 2020.
Alyn Breed, a 6-3 guard from Atlanta, posted on social media Saturday that he intends on joining Ed Cooley’s program. Breed wrote #PC2020 on his Twitter account while on a visit to Cooley’s home in East Greenwich.
Breed could not be reached for comment and PC’s coaching staff is not allowed to comment on the status of recruits until the national signing period in November.
Breed played on a loaded team at McEachern High in Powder Springs, Ga., the last three years.
