PROVIDENCE – The Big East rolled out its men’s basketball schedule on Tuesday and, once again, the Providence Friars will have to cope with a few hurdles in the upcoming season.
The Friars will play their first two conference games on the road for the second straight season due to a conflict at the Dunkin’ Donuts Center with the always-successful Disney on Ice shows. A year ago the Friars suffered blow-out losses at Xavier and Butler in the week between Christmas and New Year’s Day. This time around PC will play at St. John’s on Dec. 28 and then travel to Creighton for a Dec.
