HANOVER, N.H. – Josh Wilkins, Scott Conway and Kasper Björkqvist scored third period goals Providence College rallied for a 3-1 win over Brown University on Saturday night in the opening game of the Dartmouth Ledyard Classic at Thompson Arena.
With the win, PC coach Nate Leaman earned his 300th win as a Division I head coach.
Ranked 10th and 11th in the national polls, PC improved to 10-4-3 and Brown moved to 2-7-3 overall after the 100th all-time meeting between the two programs. The crosstown rivals will meet again on Jan. 15 when the Bears host the 33rd annual Mayor’s Cup at Meehan Auditorium.
