1. Class of 2021 point guard Breon Pass (NC) said Providence is pursuing him heavily in a recent interview with Jamie Shaw of Phenom Hoops Report. Pass tweeted out on Wednesday that he will cut his list to four schools on Sept. 6. He has seen interest from the likes of PC, Rutgers, and Georgia Tech.
Pass is intriguing for a variety of reasons. A two-sport star, he has just begun to focus more on basketball after receiving over a dozen football scholarships from high major schools. In an era of reclassifying, Pass is young for his class, having just turned 17 recently.
