Providence rushed Georgetown, leading 14-0 to start the game, and eventually 54-23 at halftime before winning 76-60 on New Year’s Eve at the Dunkin Donuts Center. Alpha Diallo had perhaps his best game of the season, shooting 7-12 from the field and finishing with 20 points and eight rebounds. PC also benefitted from a great all around game from David Duke. The sophomore finished with 10 points, eight assists, and six rebounds in the win.
PC made 10-18 from 3-point range in the first half, including a late barrage from AJ Reeves, who made 3-6 from deep in the first half.
