The field and bracket for the 2019 NCAA Division I Men’s Soccer Championship was announced Monday and both Providence College and the University of Rhode Island are in the field.
PC (14-6) will host the New Jersey Institute of Technology (10-4-4) at Chappey Field Thursday at 7 p.m. The winner will move on to face Penn State. The Friars fell to the Georgetown Hoyas, 3-1, in the Big East Championship game on Sunday. The Hoyas, who scored all three goals in the second half, are the third overall seed in the NCAA field.
The Rams (14-3-3) will begin their second straight NCAA trip by traveling to face Syracuse (7-6-5).
