PROVIDENCE – During most of his six-year stay at Providence College, Ed Cooley didn’t worry much about his players tiring. They had no other choice.

In previous seasons the Friars have watched Bryce Cotton (a nation-leading 39.9 minutes per game), LaDontae Henton (37 mpg), Kris Dunn (34 mpg) and Ben Bentil (34 mpg) play as long as they could run and remain out of foul trouble.

Not so this season. Thanks to multiple years of quality recruiting, Cooley finally owns a roster filled with talent. This includes veterans who’ve already logged 30-plus minutes a game, rising youngsters ready for larger roles and precocious freshmen with shiny futures.
