PROVIDENCE – Ed Cooley doesn’t mince words when he talks about the Big East leading Pirates of Seton Hall.
Cooley has been on the Pirates all season, voting them to finish first in the preseason poll and praising Kevin Willard’s team at every turn. Now that his Providence Friars are set to face the Hall for the first time Wednesday night, Cooley isn’t backing off.
“I thought from the jump that they were one of the best teams, if not the best team, in the country,” said Cooley.
