WASHINGTON, D.C. — As the Providence Friars prepare for a do-or-die stretch run, they’d love to plan on having a consistent star in Alpha Diallo leading the attack.
Diallo is coming off the best week of his four-year career at PC after winning Big East Player of the Week honors. He averaged 27 points and 13.5 rebounds in a loss at St. John’s and a win over Seton Hall and racked up a career-high 35 points in the win over the Pirates.
“That’s the goal,” Diallo said when asked if he can keep leading the team.
