PROVIDENCE – It’s never wise to look ahead in the midst of the grind of a season and that’s certainly the case right now for the Providence College Friars.
There are no soft stretches in the rugged Big East this season but the five games Ed Cooley’s team will play over the next two and a half weeks are especially brutal. For the first time in nearly 30 years, the Friars are looking at a string of more than four games against nationally ranked teams.
