PROVIDENCE – After three straight losses and the wind being taken out of their sails, it’s time for the Friars to regroup. The team is getting its first bye in the Big East schedule this week with the next game not coming until a trip to No. 13 Butler next Saturday.
“In all honesty I think the coaches need a bye more than the players. That’s the truth,” said coach Ed Cooley. “This has been a very taxing year on us. My team is a good team. Our record isn’t indicating the effort and energy we’re putting into it.
