PROVIDENCE – It’s always good to enter the Big East Tournament with a little confidence and despite their record the Friars sound like they can’t wait to step on the floor again at Madison Square Garden.
PC enjoyed one of its most complete Big East victories with a 83-70 win over Butler Saturday afternoon and now it travels to New York City with its season hanging in the balance. The Friars must win the tournament’s automatic bid to earn a sixth straight berth in the NCAA Tournament and there’s no question that remains the team’s only goal.
“It’s good going into New York with momentum because we feel that we can win it,” said freshman A.
