INDIANAPOLIS – Another day, another starting lineup.
Ed Cooley deployed his seventh, and biggest, starting five of the season Saturday at Hinkle Fieldhouse. For the first time this year the Friars tipped off with centers Kalif Young and Nate Watson both on the court. Butler’s starting group features two big men in Bryce Nze and Bryce Golden so the matchups were in favor of a bigger lineup.
Guards David Duke, Maliek White and A.J. Reeves rounded out the starting five. The group got off to a slow start on offense but certainly set the tone defensively with an extra degree of physical play.
