PROVIDENCE — Alpha Diallo returned to the Friar starting lineup against Creighton and needs to move back to his all-league self as soon as possible.
The senior forward has struggled for the last few games and did not start for the first time this season in a win at Butler last Saturday. Diallo played 24 minutes in the win over the Bulldogs and scored just three points in the previous two games.
That skid ended in PC’s convincing 73-56 win against Creighton. The New Yorker turned the ball over six maddening times but sparked the offense in the first half, played strong defense and finished with 14 points and six rebounds.
