Commission on College Basketball looks to hit some home run changes in sport

The long-awaited results of the Commission on College Basketball were revealed Wednesday morning and change is certainly in the wind.

Led by former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, the commission is calling for the NCAA to crack down on cheaters, impose tighter regulations around the game, have the NBA change its one-and-done rule, permit players to return to school if they go undrafted by the NBA and ban cheating coaches for life.

The commission, which included Hall of Fame players David Robinson and Grant Hill and ex-coaches John Thompson III and Mike Montgomery, came together in response to the FBI’s investigation into college basketball.
