Former AFC Leopards midfielder Francis Xavier has explained why financially stable clubs have found it hard to challenge Gor Mahia in the Kenyan Premier League (KPL).
Gor Mahia have lifted the league title in the last three season and are in pole position to win it again this time around despite the financial problems they face.
A few clubs like Bandari, Western Stima, Ulinzi Stars and Tusker have been enjoying relative financial stability but have found it hard to wrestle the title from Gor Mahia.
