West Tigers playmaker Adam Doueihi will NOT face any sanction for calling Premier League LGBTQ rainbow laces campaign 'embarrassing'

Wests Tigers star Adam Doueihi won't face any further disciplinary action from his club or the NRL over his controversial social media comment relating to LGBTQ+ inclusion in sport.

The Tigers issued the 25-year-old playmaker with a 'please-explain' after he called an Instagram post explaining to fans 'How to speak about LGBTQ+ inclusion' 'embarrassing'.

But the Tigers five-eighth denied he had intended to belittle the LGBTQI community with his since-deleted comment.

The upload came as part of Stonewall's Rainbow Laces campaign, through which the Premier League promotes LGBTQI inclusion with a variety of initiatives between December 2 and 7.
