A West Ham fan, 38, is in a critical condition in Nicosia after falling out of a moving minibus on Tuesday.

Police have confirmed a 38-year-old man has been transported to Nicosia General Hospital following an accident on Tuesday afternoon on the Paphos-Limessou highway.

The man was part of a group of six people in the minibus, who are in Cyprus to watch West Ham's Europa Conference League match against AEK Larnaca on Thursday.

The 38-year-old reportedly fell out of a window onto the road and sustained head injuries.

'One of the 38-year-old passengers, who was in the back seat, appears to have opened the window of the car and sat on it, causing him to lose his balance and fall to the road,' a police statement read.
